Thanks for replying to my question. I have heard that it is piosonous from the web research I did but an extract of it is supposedly being used to treat pancreatic cancer and also to help the immune system while receiving chemo.  It is supposed to be beng used in USA. I just wanted to hear from anyone who has heard of this new treatment in order to find out if it does exist and what results it has had or if it is just another empty hope
Thanks for your help
Jackie

I'm a certified horticulturist, and as far as I am aware, Oleander (also known by its botanical name: Nerium oleander) is a poison.  It's poisionous (and fatal) to eat and it can also produce toxic fumes when burned.  I've never heard of it used medicinally, except as a poison.
