The report says "probably benign," and it probably is. The vast majority of cysts are benign, and you're young, which is in your favor, too. Don't buy trouble by worrying about anything more.
On the other hand, it's good to have this taken care of, and I'm glad to see you're scheduled. That's the right course of action. You should ask that a gynecological oncologist be involved with your case. They don't limit themselves to cancer cases, and they have extra training and experience that means you're more likely to "get it right the first time."
Good luck.
I figured I should add my symptoms. I have a constant dull achy pain in my left pelvic area that radiates down to my thighs and back and up to my belly button. At times I get an "attack" of horrendous pain in which I feel like I have been stabbed. The doctor believes at this time that my ovary is in intermittent torsion. My period has been abnormal for about 4 months (I had been normal before this). Now I cannot guess when my period is coming and the bleeding is heavy and prolonged. I also get horrible cramping (which I never used to get). I am nauseous most of the time as well.
