New here but elevated CA-125 & complex cyst

Hi everyone.  My history is:  age 48, pre-menopausal, very heavy frequent periods and recently had an ovarian cyst that burst.  CA-125 in 2008 was 22...this week it's 37.  (lab said they only have part1 of the test back...is it a 2 part test?)  U/s shows I have a complex 4mm x 4mm cyst on left ovary that grows and shrinks and I have always had something on the left side.  Had a ueterine hysteroscopy and it showed negative for cancer, no fibroids but very thickened wall.  My CT with contrast also shows shotty perineal lymph nodes and a lesion on my left kidney.  My questions is does any of this sound familiar and is a slight elevation of ca-125 reason for concern?

Thanks!

I am in Murfreesboro!  I didn't have a hysterectomy....I had a uterin hysteroscopy which they go in and look at the lining of your uterous with a camera and take a biopsy.  Trying to figure out the pain and heavy periods so ruled out uterine cancer first.

When did you have the hysterectomy? If it was recently and the doctors said you were clear for cancer, why would you still be concerned? Perhaps I am missing something.

BTW, where are you in Tennessee? I am near Nashville.
