My gyn says my ultasound shows a 4.1 cm complex cyst wherre my right ovary use to be. I am in severe pain, all the way through my back!! She says it may go away on it's own. I ended up in the ER Friday night the doc did a cat scan and found multiple complex cyst and said my lipase number on my blood work was high and needed to be repeated. She suggested that I follow up with mt Gyn theis week. I noticed the radiologist wrote on the report LMP? what does this mean?

hi, when did you have your ovary removed?  i had my ovary and tube removed 4 months ago and am in constant pain on that side as well...i had a fluid filled tube and blood filled cyst..but am afraid there are more cysts causing this pain!  ugh  it never ends

The only time I have seen or heard the LMP it means low maignant potenial.  Go see your gyn right away.  Good luck~~~Joanne

LMP usually means low malignant potential, but ask your doc to be sure.  I am sure no doctor.  Good luck to you.  Marie
