Not ovarian cancer...yet?

I do not have ovarian cancer. My mother does, and is terminal. We may lose her in three months... if that. However, my frustration is with me. I have had nothing but problems for decades and nothing, so they say, can be done. Please bare with me as I explain my symptoms.
*Daily nausea (I thought was due to sinus drainage)
*Frequent urination (an hour or less)
*bloating in the abdomen
*monthly corpous luteum cysts that don't burst ( I have had them so much I had four laperoscopies and KNOW when they are on my ovariess. I can even tell when they are trying to burst. Lots of stabbing pain in ovaries and sometimes cervix.)
*frequent (monthly) bacterial imbalances (vaginitis, gardenerella, yeast)
*loss of appetite (I pretty much eat because I have to, but the appetite is small. Why eat until I am stuffed? People hound me about it. No I don't have a n eating disorder. I am ten pounds over weight.)
*strange abnormal periods with tissue, brown, then blood, then brown sometimes lasting two weeks (until I went for ablation surgery, now they are a few days but still weird.)
*Obvious cramping and severe pain every few months
The doctor tests for what he can but ovarian cancer has no reliable test. There seems to be only the option of hysterectomy. But, none of these on their own are a risk.
* I am on antibiotics every other month because of infections from the bursting yuck stuff and the hormonal chaos in there.
*Headaches and fatigue... lately the fatigue is unbelievable and I am only 47 and in great shape.
Last night I felt stabs in my ovaries and cervix and today woke up with gummy brown discharge like one burst! They keep making me go in for ultrasounds to watch the cysts every month. Sometimes they burst, sometimes they don't.
I am having to map out my symptoms and problems every day on a calendar to track the issues.
1) Have any of you experienced this before being diagnosed?
2) What the heck can i do???
I am soooo tired of feeling sick and "broken." Thanks so much for your time and God bless.

I agree with the ladies above and although I do not have all of your symptoms, I too seem to have recurring cysts that sometimes do and sometimes don't cause problems.  I had a hysterectomy in 2002 (I am 39 years old now) and will face having my ovaries removed sooner than later.  These could be menopausal symptoms that you are experiencing too, but if they are not, then why keep feeling yuck all the time?
A hysterectomy is major and does take a lot of thinking about, but if you have finished having your family then why be miserable with all these symptoms?
Perhaps go and see another doctor, and get another opinion regarding this.
I wish you well and will keep your mother and you in my prayers.

Peace and love....Kim

Hello... how is  your Mum doing?  When you say that she only has about 3 months left, is there nothing at all that the Oncol. can do for her? What stage is she? How long is it since she was dx?   Blessings to your Mum....hugs..Helen...

I agree with Conquerer. My mom died from ovca at age 51. I tried to be safe and get ca125s and ultrasounds, but I have stage 3b ovca. If you were feeling great I might not suggest you have preventative surgery, but you are obviously feeling horroble. I felt so much better when my sick parts were removed. Good luck to you. Oh, I am also 47. Marie

have a total hysterrectomy and forget about your ovaries.  they aren't going to yield any more children.  nothing is as bad is ovarian cancer.  Its risks are far greater than any thing you are looking at now.  be done and move on.

Hey, you're not broken!  You're a woman, and we are just complicated sometimes....  just a little humor... but you're not broken...

Don't know what you're enduring, but have you had a second opinion by now, and does ovarian cancer run in your family?

Get a second, or third, it's your right to go get a doctor that isn't so passive about what you may or may not have.... Some real answers is what you need, until then, pamper yourself, rest!
