What is the likelihood of ovarian cancer for a 32 year old woman with family history of ovarian cancer. Maternal grandmother had ovarian cancer and died as a result at age 40.

there is a risk of ovarian cancer at age 32. You should ask your doctor about genetic testing fro brca1 and 2 gene mutations. You should see a genetic counselor and see if it is appropriate for you to undergo the removal of your tubes and ovaries

Also wanted to mention that I have had a child 12 years ago and had a partial hysterectomy (uterus) in 2003 due to severe endometriosis.
