Ovarian Cysts and Fibroids

I was being treated for an ulcer when my doctor doing a CT noticed I had ovarian cysts. He sent me for a ultrasound- vaginal and regular. The results were, according to my doctor, "a cyst on each ovary and a very large uterine fibroid." Needless to say I made an appointment with an ob/gyn. I have that appt in 2 weeks. My problem is in the last two days my stomach is getting bigger and I can feel a lump/bump in it. My question, if anyone has knowledge of this, is would this be due to the cysts or the fibroid? And do you think it is advisable to try and get in to see the gyno sooner. I am also feeling totally exhausted, which is not normal for me.

If it was me, I would get to my Ob/Gyn sooner, mainly because I have no patience and would not wait 2 weeks. If you are in discomfort and worried, there is no reason you should have to wait.
Call and tell them you are in alot of dicomfort and cannot wait.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Hello
I am a little ahead of where you are right now.
But I was feeling icky, pains on my side, back pain , have to pee all the time, urine leak twice (not like me), gas a more then usual, nausea and tired, I was in bed most of the day today sleeping on and off and in pain most of the day. And I am on strong pain pills and still feel the pain.
My doctor did a Vaginal ultra sound and found cyst/fibroid on my ovary and effectin my uterus.
And my stomach sometimes seems to be larger and harded on one side or the other.
Doc said one of ovaries was bigger then it should be and uterus felt not right.
I go to see my doc on Tuesday to find out the course of action he is going to take.
If you can get in to see your doc then do but I know how hard that can be if not just for the peace of mind.
I will let you know Tuesday evening what my doc says.
Try to take it easy, and keep your mind busy.
Take care
Sonya
