Ovarian cysts, calcifications and high WBC...

I have been having abdominal pain and during a CT scan they found an Ovarian cyst on left and calcifications on right ovary.

My WBC has been high for months leukocytes and platelets especially and through a LP was found to have viral meningitis. They have tested me for an incredible amount of viruses. I tested positive for TB (skin test and quantiferon) and pernicious anemia.

During the year I have also had severe back pain, Shingles and vertigo , I'm not sure if any of these are connected. I'm extremely fatigued and gained over 50 lbs in past 6 months, cortisol test was normal.

Is any or all  of this connected? I have an ultrasound next week.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on anything but the ovarian cysts. Cysts are very common and most resolve on their own. If yours are not large (over 7 cm or so) and you do not have a predisposition for / family history of ovarian cancer, then they can usually be monitored via periodic ultrasound.

You have a lot of conditions but I doubt they are related to the cyst. The WBC's would be high with the other illnesses. Most cysts are benign. A woman has less than 2% of getting ovarian cancer in her life time. They will be able to tell more about the cyst from the ultra sound. Weight loss is typical with ovarian cancer.
