Thank you Alex. Taking it one day at a time, knowing it will get better.
I am sorry you are having to go through the recovery. The hard part will be over soon. You feel a little better everyday then all of the sudden you realize you have not noticed this or that Symptom.

I am glad to hear the pain is easing up a bit. Even though you are post-menopausal, you may very well experience surgical menopause symptoms since the ovaries produce hormones up to at least age 80. Symptoms sometimes take a number of months to present since hormone reserves can last awhile. Hopefully, you will be one of the lucky ones who has only mild symptoms.
Thanks. Pain in legs somewhat better today. One day at a time I guess. Will take you advice re the meds. Take care.
Thanks for your response. I found that when I put ice on my legs it numbed the pain and it began to ease up somewhat. I am postmenopausal so at least I am not going through immediate menopause. I am stage 1 uterine stroma sarcoma. I was reading so many articles with what they say is the new science re removal of ovaries. That a women needs them long after menopause to protect her bones, heart and avoid early senility. In any event, one day at a time but I know there is a long road ahead. Thanks for your help.
When I had my hysterectomy they put me on blood thinners for a month. In the hospital they had those annoying boots on my legs. I would tell a doctor just in case. You have to walk a lot after surgery to get the air out and to get your bowels working. Gas pains after these surgeries can be hell. If you are constipated don't take too much to correct it or you get severe diahrrea.

I am sorry for all you are going through including a cancer diagnosis. The pelvic and leg pain sound much more like a surgical complication versus cancer. Please call your doctor. A blood clot is a very real possibility and needs to be addressed without delay. If it were me, I would go to the ER if I could not reach my doctor.
Let us know what you find out. I hope it is not serious!
