I have been suffering this for a year, but just last month my right leg has been looking brused. I always have to keep heat on my leg to take away some of the pain while i'm at work. I will be going to see another OBGYN on the 9th. I heard he was really good so i hope if can find out something cause i don't know how much pain i can take.
Hey there - I have horrendous pain as you might look through my previous posts and it has been going on for over a year now. Last year the disease wasn't "that concerning" to the doctors so I waited until it got really bad this past October and now the disease (whatever it may be) is concerning to the doctors. They just make you wait until you can't bear the pain anymore; after all, why take a look see when the outer testing looks not that bad, but yet the pain is quite bad. Anyway, my pain is quadruple what it was last year and these cysts on my left ovary are getting bigger (about 5 cm and 3 cm) and they are pressing so bad on my back, pelvis, and leg nerves, the pain is nearly unbearable and is not even helped much with narcotics. I also have a couple cysts on my right ovary, but they are not that big (2 cm & 1 cm) but I do get pain every now and then from the nerves on that side. But, I do also have major back problems, however, even the neurosurgeon says that the back pain should subside with the removal of about 10 lbs. of my organs and disease (Feb. 6 is my hysto).
So I hope you can find a doctor that will listen to you NOW and not make you wait until the pain gets worse (and it would if you do have cysts and disease and they/it grows). I am absolutely not trying to alarm you, but seeing your post reminded me of my struggles with getting doctors to listen in the first instance of issues.
My best to you and I hope all works out well......... Elizabeth
It seems to me that you may have a cyst...Make sure you ask the Dr too send you for an ultrasound. I will be hoping and praying for you. Gia :)
You may possibily have a cyst that is resting on a nerve. That would cause the tingling sensation in your legs. I agree with Deandra, At this point, there is no need to worry about anything. Given your age, the chances of OvCa is very small. It isn't out of the question, but there are so many other things that could be causing your symptoms. Best wishes to you. I hope you and your doctor are able to get to the bottom of it. Waiting is the hardest part!

Hi Ashley - I have not experienced all these symptoms at one time but I wanted to make sure you write down all your symptoms so that you won't forget anything when you see your gyn. The numbing/tingling in your legs sounds like neuropathy, but I can't be sure. Are you on any pain meds? Why has it been a year you have been experiencing these symptoms with no progress with a doc? That is entirely too long to be dx. I wouldn't worry yourself sick until you have something to worry about. Come back here and let us know what your gyn finds out. With love, Deandra
