Well, the anesthesiologist came and I signed the consent form, the blood has been ordered, and I was just informed tap water enemas "until clear" are on my morning schedule.  Someone sure has a sense of humor.  Hello...I haven't eaten for an entire week.  How much "clearer" can it get? Even the nurse was laughing about that.  My white cells & platelets and now my red blood cells are all still below normal, but I guess they don't want to wait any longer.  I had a surgeon come in yesterday and introduce himself and tell me he was on call all week and if my situation became emergent, he would operate.  Gee, thanks for the reassurance.

Oh yeah thanks, Jan, for reminding me about my X-rated adventure.  I feel sorry for anybody who has to look at this emaciated, wrinkled, scarred body.  Morning rounds on Thursday will be a bit awkward for me as all those med students who group around my bed daily will be there.

Thanks for thinking of me.  I am so ready to get on with this.  Way too much time to think about it.  I'll be in touch.  Paula

Has anyone talked to Paula.  Is it definitely on.  I listed it as tentative, but have not heard whether it is for sure or not.  If it is, good luck to your Drs., because you'll just be laying there naked for the whole hospital to see.  FUN FUN FUN  You know I wish you well Paula.
