my wife is 34 years old and she has Ovarian cancer as also H Pylori. Due to the H Pylori she has been vomitting like crazy at times 5 or more times in a day. She has taken the radiation therapy for a month intially and the side effects increased her vomitting and lost of appetite. She is anemic and so gets really sick whenever she does the therapy. Owing to the fact that she has these conditions combine. How will she be able to take care of the cancer when the treatment is actuall working adversly against her due to these side effects which escalates her H Pylori condition.

Aloxi during chemo helps a lot as does the Emend three-day pack. Also, ask her doctor if she can take Kytril.

i am surprise with the radiation treatment.  what was her chemo regiment.  I had h pylori years ago and used antibiotics and a lot of yogurt and good bacterium suppliments.

Also check with the onc. about her nausea meds. The best ones for me are aloxi drip before chemo, also they give zantac thru the iv tube, Emend the day of and 2 days after chemo, then phenergan for several days until the nausea passes. She may be able to takk pepcid or nexuim too, if she doesn't already. Hope she feels better soon.
