It's sorta like that dang toothache that goes away right before you go to the dentist! I wanted to cancel my surgery because I was feeling so well with my thyroid...they got my levels right finally and I was on top of the world...then it "acted up" and I went hyperthyroid and was a crazy person. That sealed the deal for this sucker to come out. I took it as a sign to proceed with surgery...sigh.
Essentially I had the same things done except no strength test but I did have the EKG. Not at all what I thought it was going to be. I think I am hanging in there fairly well. I actually had some pretty intense ovulation pains today which in a very strange way was welcoming because since all of this has started I have not had pains. I was starting to wonder if there were anything to really be done. I am still a little sore.
I had my pre op today too! How did you make out (although at the time I'm typing this you're still there)? I'm curious what you had to do for your pre op, I thought it would be much more intense than what it was. Just some blood, bp, ears nose and throat test, strength test. No ekg like I thought (I'm 42 so I thought they would do it) no chest x-ray...very simple. I hope it's going well for you...how are your nerves holding up?
My Maryland cyster - the wait is almost over. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
