QVC Ovarian cancer fund raiser

I read in a magazine that QVC will be selling a special addition necklace for OVCA research on August 1st.  They had a picture of it and it was really nice.  It is a turquoise piece.  It did not say the price but I am hoping to get one.

My dad was admitted into the hospital today and I totally missed it.  :(
Would love to see what they had to offer.  Anyone see the necklace?

I just scored the L'Oreal Colors of Hope makeup bag, and the Slatkin Bamboo candles.  I'm so glad all the items featured are selling out.  I'm hoping they raise lots of money!

Holy moly!  I just had a look at QVC's web site.  They are featuring some of the items that will be sold for the Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser.  Granted, it is for a good cause as we all well know, but there is barely a thing on the list I could afford.  There's a couple of dresses on there going for more than $1000.  The necklace was not featured yet.  I imagine that will be one of their hourly "surprises".  But if it's anything like what's on the rest of the list, then I would probably have to mortgage my house to afford it.  I really hope there are some folks with lots of money willing to fund this.

I happen to be a big QVC shopper.  Your best bet would be to check the web site.  No matter what time they air it, it should be available on the web site all day.  They also "sell" donations to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in increments of $10, $20, and $50.  I looked earlier because sometimes they offer a glimpse of upcoming stuff, but it wasn't listed yet.

Thanks Heidi! Does anyone know what time on August 1st, they will be selling it? I am not a big QVC shopper, so I don't know all the ropes. Do they advertise the times of sales?
