Recent Fallopian Tube Removal and Bleeding

Hello, I am a bit concerned about my situation, and am looking for someone who has experienced something similar to my medical history. I am a 25 year old female that has suffered from gyno problems since I was at least 15. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2005 via laparoscopy, and was on Metformin and Birth Control until 2008. In 2008 I decided to allow my body to try to menstrate as I had always been on Birth Control since I was a teen. I did not start menstrating until April of 2010 when my Father passed away (weird, I know). My doctors didn't seem concerned as all paps were normal. I was regular until October when I began having severe cramps and periods lasting 21 days with very heavy bleeding. I went to my doctor who put me on Junel (birth control) and the periods slowed some, but I had a lot of bleeding even on the birth control. Stumped, my doc referred me to an OBGYN that specializes in complicated cases. After a pelvic ultrasound (and a lot of blood loss, because by this time it was already January!), the doc saw a tennis ball sized cyst on my ovary. He decided to remove it on February 18th laparoscopically. Before he did the surgery, he asked me to be on Junel continuously, meaning no break for menstration. I began taking the pill without a period time in January and have had nearly daily spotting. The doctor was aware and hoped the cyst removal would fix it. I had the surgery 2 weeks ago, and when I woke up from the surgery, he said the cyst was actually inside my fallopian tube (very rare, he also mentioned) and he removed my left tube, but left my ovary in as nothing was wrong. My PCOS also wasn't evident on my ovaries and he also said I didn't have endometriosis, although my last lap in 2005 said otherwise. Why did I end up with a cyst inside my fallopian tube (not an ectopic pregnancy, as I am abstinent)? Also, how long should this bleeding last? I am on birth control continuously, yet am bleeding lightly (more than spotting) with cramping even 2 weeks later. I have asked for answers about the bleeding as he says the cyst in my tube wouldn't cause it, but I am getting no where fast. Thanks for reading this long post.

I wouldn't sit and wait until the post-op appointment.   Also, I think it is usually only two weeks between surgery and post-op visits.  Why is yours a month after?
His "not believing" your cyst is  cancer is simply not good enough!  If he sent it to pathology he should have received a report by now.
He says the cyst removal is not the cause of your bleeding.....so what is?  I think I might want another opinion from another doctor.
He doesn't seem too concerned with your situation.......you need to be your own best advocate when it comes to your health.
Keep pushing.  Good luck.
Peace.

I should mention that I have a post-op appointment in 2 weeks and was told if there was cancer, they would call me. He said it was a simple cyst (but far too large for my fallopian tube) and he didn't believe it was cancerous. I really don't like this waiting game. I was told he would call if it was cancer, but otherwise I just have to sit and wait until my post-op.
