Removal or wait & see

I am 43 and had a total hysterectomy two years ago but elected to keep one ovary.  Two years later that ovary has a cyst on it that has grown from 4.4 to 5.9 cm.  Doc warned that keep the ovary would most likely allow endometriosis to come back and it looks as if it did.  Minor, minor pain if anything.  My CA125 is elevated again because of the endometriosis and I just had blood drawn for two more cancer markers.
Doc said it is up to me if no cancer is found, I can wait and see and maybe get a few more years out of this ovary or have it removed entirely causing me to go into menopause.
What to do?

ask your gynecologist for a PET SCAN. anything over 7mm will light up if it is cancer.

Why wait????  You are not having any more kids, and even if it is endo and nothing more, it can grow back and you would be having to make this decision again.

Menopause is not easy, I am the first to say it....but....consider what the alternative could be.
