Reoccurence Symptoms

Hey there!  I am wondering if any of you who have had a reoccurence AFTER being in remission experienced any symptoms.  My last chemo was December 5, 2008 and I have been in remission.  My CA-125 results were down to 8 back in December.  I go at the end of this month for my 3 month check up.  I have noticed lately that I have tons of headaches, nausea and urinating quite often again....It could very well be my mind playing tricks on me due to fear of the unknown.  However, I went 10 years thinking I was imagining things and had IBS when really I had OVCA.

I have had no symptoms with my recurrence.  Have several small spots scattered around that we are treating with chemo.  I'll pray you are fine.  Judy

I am experiencing recurrence, have not had symptoms except bloating.  Eating more than usual, food tastes good now and it may not later!!   I know it's almost impossible, please try not to fixate on aches and pains.  Enjoy this time while it lasts!

I know it is hard but please try not to worry about this until you know you have something to worry about.  The symptoms you describe could be signs of recurrence, but on the other hand they could be a lot of other things also.  Lord knows we have enough to worry about so as they say "don't trouble trouble until trouble troubles you". I have never really had a remission unless you can count 5 mths as a remission.  One time I knew it was back because I woke up with a 102 fever. Before I was diagnosed I ran a low grade fever for a whole month, but it was March in TN and EVERYBODY had something they couldn't shake so I thought I was just run down from working 24/7 and couldn't get rid of a bug.  They say that fever is not a symptom, but my response to that is B.S.!!!!  Gilda Radner had low to high grade fevers whenever she recurred & her Drs told her it was basically nonsense.  I really am very sorry that you have to spend the next few weeks worrying about this. The waiting and uncertainty is the absolute worst, but we will all hope and pray that you have a wonderfully healthy report at the end of the month.  Good luck
