Results of ultrasound
I received results of my ultrasound.
right ovary measures 3.1x2.8.2.9cm. there is a dominant cystic structure with the right ovary which measures 2.1x1.3x2.0cm with posterior acoustic enhancement and no significant doppler flow. I am worried.
My mom died of ovarian cancer. would like someone's opinion.

thanks for the reply. i have dr appointment 14 nov to discuss the cyst. i'll bring up the ca-125 test. thanks

Kitty...that's pretty small for a cyst. What is your doctor suggesting? I'm guessing they'll want to wait several weeks to see if it goes away on its own, and then do another ultrasound. When they get to be about 5 cm, that's when they start talking about surgery. Have they done a CA125? Hang in there and try not to worry yet, OK?
