Mickyvicky, many thanks for your info, this is what my wifes Dr has suggested, if this does not work then he will try Hycamtin. If you know of any combinations ect, anything would be greateful

I am slightly familiar with Gemzar as it has been found to be  remarkably effective for a type of lung cancer and for pancreatic cancer, both of which do not respond well to any treatment.   The drug can extend life and I was told that it did not provoke extreme side effects, at least compared to the previous regimens.
