Scalp infection

My hair started falling out 2 weeks after first chemo.  I shaved about 2 days after that.  I now have a terrible infection on my scalp.  It looks like severe acne and is all over my head.  My Dr. put me on an antibiotic and hibiclense wash twice daily.  It hurts, especially when I get this tingling sensation.  They first thought it might be shingles but I guess they decided it wasn't since it was all over my head and not just on one side.  Has anyone had this problem with their hair loss.  Thanks Kerry

Yes Yes and Yes... I was put on antibiotic lotion.. I also had shingles on my scalp.. It does clear up and mine took about a month.... Ronni
