Side effect of chemo: swollen leg.

Is there any treatment for badly swollen lower leg!???

I hope by now you have been to the ER ... you don't want to mess with a blood clot.

I totally agree with Gail.  You should have this swollen leg situation checked out as soon as possilbe.  Good Luck.

This could be caused by many things, but first and foremost, you should have it checked out to make sure you don't have a blood clot.  In fact, I think I'd get to the ER ASAP.  Certain chemo can cause it (Gemzar did for me, and I eventually had a tulip filter placed in my vena cava to keep clots out of my lungs).  If it's just fluid, something like Lasix can help with that.  But, no matter the reason, please don't wait any longer than you have to for treatment.
