Multiple levels are examined
Correlation
LISIL, as reported on the previous pap smear #7115455 and the accompanying pap smear #7156147 is not diagnostically demonstrated within the present tissue specimen
When i went to the doctor and they explained the biopsy and coloscopy to me they told me that there are no precancerous or cancerous cells. That they didn't have enough tissue to diagnose the abnormal cells they collected (retaining to my pap smear)
They also told me that I have not been tested for HPV but they are 99.9% sure that is why my pap smear came back abnormal. Could it be something different could it be endometriosis cells that runs in my family? Also about the ultrasounds they told me about the mass on my right ovary that it maybe cancerous and it may not be cancerous. I feel like i am just be dragged around and i feel like i can't get any answers I am just worried is it really possible high chances that its cancer? Please help me in any way you can thank you sorry its so long.
Hi there
OK, you need to get the actual reports of your pap smear and your ultrasound. You may need to physically go to the locations where those reports are kept such as the clinic or hospital.
That is very important. Once you do that, write out the actual words on that report into this forum.
I look forward to hearing from you
best wishes
I am 23 years old. My history of surgery is really only a c-section in feb 2004. I have had PID before probably 2 years ago. All they told me was i had abnormal cells that showed up in my pap smear back in march 2007 and my ultrasound was abnormal showing mulitple cysts on my left ovary and a solid mass on my right ovary. Thats all they told me. I hope this helps some. Thanks you for your time.
Hi There,
Wow, it is so hard when you do not have a regular doctor or nurse practitioner to guide you through the system. It is hard to comment on what is going on without more information. It would be helpful to know the following:
-your age
-history of surgery
-history of pelvic infections
-what exactly was the reading on your pap smear
-what exactly was the reading on the ultrasound.
if you can find out this information , it will be easier to give you an opinion
best wishes
