I read your post in the anxiety forum and I didn't relize you were helping me out.  I was just freaking out and blow out of apportion  I hope you forgive me.  I know you were just trying to help me out.  I been get these symptons for a few months now with the bloating 24 hours a day and frequent urination.  I google it and it kept saying ovarian cancer got scared.  I want to find out what is wrong with me and I will feel better.  Everybody acts differently but when you have anxiety it makes things worst.  Im sorry ot hear about your daughter didn't relize she had Ocarian cancer.  Im glad she is looking at it postive........Ya know I been like this for 13 years.  Its terrible.  My dad died of a massive heart attack and the next day my mom told me I was very shocked I was so sad for years.. I had to see councelors all the time to help me they say it trauma me.  I guess when someone you love so much you don't relize this can happen to anyone.  I  know I cant bring my dad back but I know hes up there watching me.  Ever since  he died Im afraid of death.  Its not good for me.  Now Im getting these symptoms I  think of the worst.........Thanks for listening to me......Have a good day...

I think you took my post the wrong way, I'm not trying to remind you of your anxiety.  What I'm trying to say, is that because you are so worried about your symptoms that you should consider going to Boston, Dana Farber is known as one of the best hospitals for female issues.  If I lived close enough, I would certaintly seek out a doc there.
Good luck on Friday - I hope your obgyn can give you some answers!

bip, you have been to the Gyn and you have been told you have a very small less than a 1/2 inch cyst that is dissolving.  You state you have anxiety, and I believe you, that can give you all the symptoms you describe.  See you counseler and work with her/him to get your anxiety under control.  If one is anxious and nervous of course they feel they have to go to the bathroom all the time, and they can feel nauseated, or bloated.  Your mind can play tricks on your body.  I believe you are a young womam, with young children, you probably have used birth control pills all of which puts you at a very low risk for ovarian cancer.

I noticed that you are from Lowell, have you considered making an appointment at Dana Farber/Brighams?  It seems like you are worried about this 24/7, if so you should consider going to Boston.  Also, keep in mind that even though SimplyStar is extremely knowledgeable (sadly through personal experience) that she is not a doctor and only a doctor can give you the answers that you seek.

cut down on your fluid intake   an irritable bladder does not mean cancer.   Go to a urologist for that

Leslee's symptoms were extreme bloating, she wore her hubbys pants to work, pain in the abdomen, frequent urination, hard belly, felt full after eating a small amount of food.  Fatigue, , diarrhea, all over feeling of something wrong.  Absolutely no family history of cancer in family.  Upon a vaginal, that took her off the table, doctor felt the tumor back of her ovary, by palpating her belly while doing the internal exam.  Only then did they do the TVS,MRI, CA125 and the DX was verified with surgery.  Her cancer was determined to be a random occurance, a 2% chance out of the population.  Her genetic testing showed that she does not carry the BRAC 1or 2 genes,  so her daughters will be watched but their chances of getting OVCA are no more than hers was.  this is a rare disease.

What I know about OVCA I have learned here on this forum, from my own research and from talking  with my daughters  doctors. What I know about anxiety comes from my one on one work with people dealing with it in the field of my nursing career.  OVCA is a very rare cancer,  There are many other symptoms besides bloating and frequent urination that appear with this disease.  Nerves can cause many imagined and real feelings in the body. If I were you I think I would have a vaginal exam done to see if the uterus is tipped and laying on the bladder.  That is called prolapse, not dangerous, just happens sometimes and can be fixed easily. You need to tell yourself that you do not have cancer and  get on with trying to conquer this anxiety thing that seems to be ruling your life.  Think about how this could affect your children and I am sure you know that children the age of yours need a mothers direction to learn and develop normally.  You mention losing your father, yes, that is a traumatic thing,  but he would not want you to dwell on death, rather on life.  I am 77 years old, all I have left are my children,  parents, brothers, hubby, all gone,  I miss them but I can't do anything about it, so I choose to live out my days the best I can.  Put yourself aside and try to concentrate on those kids of your.  World War One song, Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old KIt Bag and SMILE   SMILE  SMILE.  So put this cancer thing where it belongs, gone for good, and  use that energy elsewhere.

Oh nad another thing I was reading your post and you give such good advise very smart.  Im really sorry for over reacting to you.  You sound like a caring person.  You know so much about cancer. Can I just ask you something? Do you think 1cm cyst would cause my frequent urination and bloated? My OBGYN keeps telling me if it was suspious they would do more testing.  I just want to find out what is wrong with me and my anxiety doesn't help........Just afraid that if it is cancer it will spread.........
