Swollen nodes in abdomen, menstruation cycle is off

I had 2 oral surgeries 5 years ago to remove an impacted tooth from my left maxillary sinus. Since then I have a sinus infection every month. January 06, I began to have pressure in my maxillary sinus relieved only by pushing on it to pop it. I experience muscle pain and stiffness down the left side of my face, back of my neck and down my left arm, my left hip and my left leg. In the morning, I have to get out of bed and walk around to loosen up.
After I eat anything, even water, I experience abdominal distension, cramping, gas, and sharp pains down my left side. It will randomly happen, not 24/7.
The most uncomfortable symptom is a hot, sharp line of pain from my chest, to the left of my sternum that goes down the middle of my breast, straight down my abdomen that throbs and causes heart palipitations. I have a sharp pain on my left side underneath the ribs. The nodes above my hip on my abdomen are swollen as is behind my belly button. Hard to the touch, painful.
Menstruation is affected. My cycle is completely off, one time 2 months, another time, two weeks apart. Right after menstruation, I feel good, then randomly start the abdominal pain and distension. It literally looks like I lose 20 lbs and gain it back within a week. Not overweight, no smoking, no drinking, no drugs, no stds.

Hi There,
I really wonder if you could have a Little hernia - say in your belly button- in which a loop of bowel gets lodged and blocked temporarily. ask your doctor if that makes any sense
good luck!

Yes, you are right. I got so caught up in the symptoms I forgot to add the results. Blood tests and x-rays came back clean excepting WBC is slightly raised. Antibiotics twice around and haven't worked, although I haven't taken up the offer for IV antibiotics yet. Colonoscopy revealed nothing, IBS isn't suspected by my doctor.

In fact, the biggest issue I am having here is helping my doctor to understand what is happening. I am trying to document the symptoms for a better diagnosis. For example, I am perfectly fine right now. No congestion, no distension, only a slight headache and a burning sensation down my arm/shoulder. Absolutely no reason to see a doctor.

But after dinner I might be lying on the ground curled up due to the tightness from the bloating.

It's all very unpredictable and interruptive.

Hi There,
it is hard to give an opinion without information about your physical examination, labs, and xrays. There are many possible reasons for your distress. you need a good physical exam, a chest xray and some blood work to look for infection. Other possibilities include fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome. But the list of possibilities is long. It is best to see your doctor.
I hope all goes well
best wishes
