Taking a break from the board

I'm going to be taking a break from the board, at least until I find out if I'm going to need the hernia surgery repeated, what my latest CT and CA show, and what kind of chemo I'll be facing next.

I'm just worn out and feeling depressed and I need to get away from all the cancer issues, relapses and sadness I keep reading about. It just makes me realize my situation even more.

I'll also take a break from the notes and messages. I really appreciate everyone writing to me, and caring about me but I just need some time to be alone.
I'm on an anti depressant already, but I think hearing that I may have to head back to the hospital really got to me. I'm usually angry at the cancer, and feeling positive, but we all have our limit and I've reached mine.

I will really miss you while you are gone.  I hope it will only be for a short time. I truly understand why you are taking break.  I've had to do the same in the past.  Usually, I felt better after about a week.  Your participation is greatly appreciated...I'm sure by many people other than myself.   You have helped so many people by answering their questions in a positive and encouraging manner.

Be strong and keep up the fight. May you have a peaceful rest.

We'll be waiting for you, anxious to hear the next chapter of your life. It's quite normal to take a break. You need to nurture yourself for awhile before you can help carry anyone else's burdens. Rest, read, escape however you can.
