Thoughts/prayers for my friend

I've mentioned a few times that I have a sweet friend who has been fighting ovarian cancer for years (10 now). She's managed to stay active, travel, work, etc. I noticed the last time we went walking together she seemed short of breath and her fingernails were a dusky color. I found out this morning that she had to go to ER a few nights ago. She has pneumonia. The new chemo she's been on recently has been pretty hard on her although her numbers are going down. They also found a couple of small tumors in her lungs.

She's been doing such a great job fighting this beast, I keep thinking she can go on and on but this scares me. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Thank you so much. I heard from her last night and the pneumonia is coming under control so she's feeling better in that respect. She didn't mention anything about the 2 tumors in her lungs. She's not one to ever complain. She's always asking about others, listening to them but rarely will she talk about herself. She's the most giving caring person I've ever met.

I will definitely do that.  It sounds like this lady is a fighter beyond belief and even though I don't know her, I am proud of her success so far.  But from time to time, even the toughest have their issues.  I will say a special prayer for her, and for her family and friends.  I know this has to be scary for you all.  Please let us know how she's doing as you have a chance.

Love,
Gail
