Welcome home, glad the bag is finally gone!
I know it is awfully hard on you, hearing more active cells. In time you will heal, be in less pain, and our little fighter will be right back here where she belongs.
You can do it, pulling for you..and keeping you and all others here in my prayers
Love butterflytc
Thinking of you and knowing how strong you really are. Glad the bag is gone and the only I want to see you carrying is a Dulce Gabana... Feel better soon.. Love Ronni
Deandra-best wishes for your recovery. I know this is a difficult time for you. Please know your'e in my thoughts and prayers. You are blessed the surgery went well. Now when you are healed up and out of pain, you will deal with this demon. I was so upset to hear that. With this disease I have learned that you deal with one thing at a time. Now is the time for healing. Lots of love, Helen
Hooray the bag is gone.
I am so glad to hear that you are home and doing well! Even better that the surgery was a success. It has to be a relief to finally be rid of that bag. My sister has had one for years now, so I have an idea of what you have been through.
Those microscopic cells suck!! As rough as some chemo is for us you would think that ALL of the cells would be gone. When you said you hate this disease, well you said it just the way we all do. Hopefully the chemo that you have to have will go well for you. I know it was upsetting to be told that you have to have more, esp when you thought you were done. But hopefully this chemo will kick it once and for all!
Love, Chris
Deandra,
I am so happy your reversal surgery was a success!!! I am sorry to hear you still may be facing more chemo. You have already really kicked this monster back - still praying you will be completely cancer free soon!
Hugs, Shelly
Hi Deandra! I'm glad you're home, back in your own bed. I'm so glad your surgery to remove the bag went well! Your other news is disappointing. So sorry. I pray that the next round of chemo will blast that cancer! Rest up and take your pain meds!
Love, hugs and prayers!
Lori
I'm so happy to see you back. I'm relieved that your colostomy removal went well, and although I know you aren't looking at this as a blessing in disguise (and I don't blame you one bit!) I know you have the strength to pull this off. I wish you were done fighting and know you want and need the rest, but we'll all be here to help you when you feel like you don't have the strength.
Take care of yourself...
love Becky
G'day mate... good to 'see' you back online. That pain will soon go, and you'll be 'fighting fit' again before you know it. Great news that the operation went well. hugs..Helen...

You are an amazing girl and you are a fighter ...so with all of us behind we will help you kick OVCA in the A____!!!!! Feel Better and Take it easy ...my prayers are with you!!! Love, Gia :)
Deandra,
Please know you have been on my mind. Sending you love and hugs from Minnesota.
Love, Mary
Wow, I am so glad you are home. I called your mom yesterday to see if you had gotten out but got voice mail. Your mom was so comforting to talk to and she was very sweet to be so concerned for me with you in the hospital and all. It is so much better to be miserable at home. I am glad you understood why I wrote what I did. We try to be supportive here but we can't sweep under the rug all the bad stuff we are thinking and feeling and I KNEW how you would feel about this next round of chemo. You are tough though kiddo and you will come thru this and we will all pray that it is the last time for you. Take care and I will call you soon if I don't hear from you. Cory says hi.
Love,
Jan
Glad to see you back and I know you will heal so much faster at home. I know you are upset, but I see it as good news cause now you know what you need to do to get rid of this sh** for good and for EVER!!!!!!! and you WILL get rid of it forever. Just hang in there a little longer! Hugs to you, post again when you feel better, take it slow and easy. Shannon
Writing this from AZ got in here this afternoon, twins are in the hospital in Phoenix, Mom and Dad with them , I have other 3 girls, evidently some sort of food poisoning, they think from a pizza the little ones shared. Hope this finds you are on the way to healing, sorry about the chemo, but you are one tough gal and will beat this too. Won't be able to post very often, but will try. Tell everyone hi for me, Marty
PS Sat next to a gal on the plane from Minneapolis to Phoenix, I could tell she was bald, talked with her and she was dx in 1998 with OVCA, now is battling Breast cancer. She was so upbeat, she asked about Medhelp when I mentioned it and said she would look it up when she got home. She flies there once a month for treatment. She is from Brainerd Mn.
Dear Deandra , what a tough time you have had !! sorry to hear you are in a lot of pain right now and im praying for a very speedy recovery for you. Best wishes love Angie xx
OK, more chemo just plain ole sucks, but I am THRILLED your surgery went well, and that bag is gone! Better to have caught the active cells now, though, so you can go ahead and get treatment and kill them before it turns into something more. I know you don't want to have to do that anymore, and it is understandable that you don't look at this as a blessing. But on the good side, your doctor seems to be positive about three more treatments being the end of it. Yeah, it isn't exactly the news you wanted to hear, but you're going to get through this, too.
Great to hear from you. Take it easy, and take those pain pills! Looking forward to hearing from you again when you are up to it. Until then, lots of love and prayers are heading your way!
Love,
Gail
Welcome back we have missed you a lot. I am sorry to hear that you will need a few more cycles of chemo but you have been so strong for so long I am sure that you can keep this up for a while longer, let that fighting spirit kick back in again.
Hugs
