Thank you for your prompt response. In fact i do have a history of endometriosis. I had to use fertility drugs to have my second child in 2001. A few months later I had my tubes tied. Then in 2003 I had a partial hysto. The Doc left my cervix and one good ovary. Doesnt seem to be doing so good now. I dont understand what all the medical terminology means in my post and was hoping someone could explain it to me in plain english. I asked the Doc, my gyno that day and his response was "Don't worry, I'm gonna take care of you, I'll be out of town next week but will see you June 12th. He put a call into the surgeon who has done my most recent surgery, I was diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus and I had a hiatal hernia. He did a tubular fundiplication (pulled the herniated part of my stomach out of the esophagus and wrapped it partially around the esophagus. My gyno wanted to wait on the surgeons opinion to see if there were any risks and/or precautions he needed to be aware of since the surgery was performed in Jan. of this year. I have always had cysts but never like this! The funny thing about it is I didnt have any problems until it just hit me within a matter of hours on that monday 5/29/06, since then it is progressively getting worse. This has not been a good year for me thus far and I just need an outsiders opinion. As I am typing this my gyno office just called and said my blood tests results come back and they are within normal range. She couldnt explain it to me anymore than that but insisted I keep my appt with them on mon 6/12/06. Any comments on this one? Why are they so short and talk terms I cant understand.
Maybe see if you can get into a gyn/onc before June 12th for a second opinion. They are the specialists for this area. If you have a copy of your report call the onc's office and fax the report over to see if you can get an appt.
I agree, get a 2nd opinion with a gyn/onc. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed
