Treated inactive lesion

If a treated inactive lesion was the only thing that was found on a CAT scan on May 8th 2008, and a CA125 was 14.8, why is the CA125 today 31.2. I had 10 Doxil treatments which ended in March, I feel great, just started an exercise class and am ready to jump off a bridge. By the way I was 3C. Had my surgery 10 '04. This is so very depressing. I don't post much but I read every day. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks

I was stage1C grade 3 in 2005. No chemo at all.First one,  the trial one,  I had bad reaction. I am using alternative approach since Jan 2006 and read more and more about conventional (except chemo) medications for OV CA like Ovarex or Avastin-to educate myself what's available and what side effects there are..
.
I read that once you do chemo you can't switch back to alternative. Your body will be too 'tired' and non responsive to alternative approach.

Hi there.
At the time of my surgery my CA125 was at 28 and they found incidently cancerous ovary High Grade Transitional Cell Carcinoma.and semifluid csyt attached to the ovary.
After debulking my CA125 was for a year between 5.5 and 17. Up and odwn.
Because I had two lesions growing into a cysts approx.  5x6cm and 6x8cm for more than a year now, my CA 125 was up and down  from 17 to 50. Now it is at 50 for few months and does not go down or up.
I have to go for another MRI to see what's going on.
Sometimes CA125 will react to inflammation in pelvic area.I had few of them lately.Felt like I was 8 month pregnant.NO asciates.
keep monitoring CA but do not let this cloud your good sence of humour and your good spirits.
Our mind can play rough games with us so don't let it. Join Laughter YOGA. Did you hear about that? See my profile. I have  a link there.
I was talking to my Yoga instructor and he said that breathing is the first imporatnt thing and  laughing is the second. He will implement this to our prrogram and when he does I will join  his classes on regular bases for sure. In a group situation it is better to laugh at anything than at home alone.
Keep on fighting.Don't give up.
Hugs,Sunes.
