Chemo is not the end of the world. Most of the women on the forum seem to have had chemo and, even if it's tough, it's better to fight cancer aggressively than be sorry that you didn't. Chemo is not always tough, either, as every patient is different.
Please do the research, get a second opinion if you need to be sure you're doing the right thing, and then act. Also, be sure that your wife makes the final decision as it is her life.

I am extremely sorry to hear of your wife's dx. I am not exactly sure what it all means. Just as an FYI, there is an MD who is very very good at explanations on chemotherapy and answers quickly. He is located on the Expert Forum, under Ovarian Cancer and a subtitle of chemotherapy. His name is Kamal Saini, MD and at this moment, he is pictured to the right of this message under "Expert Activity. He would be one very good source of information from the chemotherapy standpoint.
