Update on Ashley's Six Month Scan

Hi warriors,

Just a quick update on Ashley.  She had her first six month scan yesterday.  The doctor came in and proclaimed the All Clear.  Everything looks great and she will not need to go back until next March.  I must say though, these scans never get easier....you hold your breath all day until you hear the doctors words.  It is great news none the less and hopefully brings cheer to some of you battling so hard.  Incidently, Ashley has started college and has moved out of our house into an apartment with 2 of her girl friends :( "Sigh..."  Having her not around will take some getting used to.  The bright side I guess is that her mother and I are now empty nesters under 40 yrs. old.  Time to have some fun.  I will continue to pray for all of you struggling with your battle.

Take Care and God Bless,
Bob

I am happy to hear about Ashley's "CLEAR" diagnosis. May this continue the next 80 years or so.

our little girls grow up, that is what we want and yet in our hearts we dread the moments they are "on their own", Ashley is alot stronger now because of her ordeal with cancer, she will be able to face the future and make you so proud that she is your daughter.  I am so happy for her and her parents, each day can be a celebration of life now,  I am sure she is enjoying the challenges of college and independance.   Love to you both, Marty

Bob - wow....Ashley in college and out of the house....and even more exciting, living the life of a normal teen.  I am so thrilled to hear all this and really glad that she got the all clear.

My thoughts are always with you and Ashley, she holds a special place in all our hearts.

It's good to hear from you (it's been awhile) and the news was worth waiting for. How exciting for her. As parents you're probably breathing a little sigh of relief because we all want our kids to be healthy and happy. Thanks so much for letting us know.
