reoccurence of tumors any concern???

Hello, I have a couple of questions I would like to ask of you.     A little backround---In 2005 I learnt I had a 11cm dermoid on my lt.ovary and an 8cm mucous cystadenoma  on the rt. ovary. I was scheduled to have thenm removed but ended up preg. and surg was cancelled. After becoming preg. they began to grow even more  rapid, and there was worry they were malignant so at 4mths preg.( Dec. 23/05)  I had a laporotomy, to remove the dermoid as the other had ruptured just prior to surgery. Thankfully it was not malignant.   I was told that it was very unlikely to have a reoccurence of these tumors.   I have since moved and have new doc's.   Five mths. ago now, I found out I have another 4cm dermoid on my lt.ovary and a 3cm (unsure of name) on the rt.  My doc. sent me to a gyno who said if it's not broke don't fix it...no blood tests, no follow up TVUS, nothing.   I returned to my reg. doc. and  told him I would like a sec. opin. and a sec. US.  He denied me of both.   I am extremely upset and frustrated by their lack of concern.  I do not understand how different of approach it is this time around.    Does this seem like appropriate action?   Is it true that all dermoids should be removed?   Should I demand a followup TVUS?  And can I?      We also were hoping to have another baby like right NOW, but I fear the same scenario as the last,  would you suggest holding off on another pregnancy?   If you can could you tell me what would be your course of action if you had a patient under the same circumstances?     I truly would appreciate any help, advice or insight you could give me, and I thank you.

At the top left hand corner of this page you will see "Ask Doctor Forums".....under that you see two choices (right under the head shots of two doctors)....click on the  "Ovarian Cancer" and that will take you to where the doc answers questions....good luck!
