You sound good .. and ready to fight. I've been on antibiotics for 17 days for the infection above my port .. no diarrhea, thank God. I had chemo in my hand all week (left the needle in .. no problems). Wishing you the best on all your results. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Judy
Thank you for all of your well wishes. I am feeling a little better each day now. The biggest problem I am having is diarreah from the antibiotic.
It is taking me a little while to get my strength back, but I figure it will be close to normal just in time for me to go to the Dr on Mon and resume chemo. But thankfully at a lower dosage. The cellulitis is still there but gradually going away. I hope it is gone soon as I look all lopsided since one side of my stomach is lots bigger than the other. (It looks like I slept on my side and all of my fat ran to one side and stayed there!)
Hopefully I will also get the results back for the fluid they tested from my lungs, and I should have my CA drawn on Mon too. After what I went through the past 2 weeks, the gemzar/avastin combo had better be working.
Love to you all,
Chris
I am sorry I havent been on and wasnt aware that u were in the hospital....hope you get stronger everyday and my prayers are always with you...xoxo Gia
Glad to hear you're back home. Your dog must have missed you terribly and vice versa.

Welcome Home Chris!! You are very welcome for the junk food. I know all too well, what hospitals try to pass off as food. lol I am so glad you are feeling better and that you got to go home much sooner than expected. It was so good to see you. Hope we can get together again, but under better circumstances. Hope you continue to feel well. Love, Kasie
Glad your home, missed you. How about some old fashion just rock and roll. Will put the stero on for you and dance around the house, for you with my cane. As for the beer, to early, maybe later, a cigarette sounds good too. will talk to you soon
So glad you are home .. hope all goes well from here on ...
(( HUGS ))

Welcome back home. relax and enjoy. Sending positve thoughts and prayers your way.
Hugs and Love, Terry
What??? You don't like religious music at 2am? You prefer RAP? LOL
So glad that you are home, there is no place like home. Can you have a cig and a beer? I don't like cigs but do enjoy beer and that sounds good right now! I am raising my pretend beer (too early for a real one - at least before work) to a continued recovery and no more hospital stays! Hugs, Colleen
Welcome home. Get your rest and know how much you are cared about by everyone:-)
Karen
I am soooo glad you are home. There is nothing like that feeling. Get plenty of rest and as Sharon said above, whens the party......

Heidi
Fantastic !!! Good to "hear" your voice !!! Have a peaceful night's sleep !!! Those hospitals sure take a lot out of you don't they??? Be well !!
Love,
Sandy
I'm SO glad to hear that you're back home now. I was nervous for you. Congrats!
Just so that you won't miss the hospital so much, you should sit around the house making disgusting noises while listening to a religious music station. : )
Take care, Chris.
Kathy
Best news I've had today. Love your spitoon guy. Just think of how quiet and dull it will be at home now. Ahhh, I can see that smile on your face. As Dorothy said, there's no place like home.
hugs, irene
I want to come over and hang out. When's the party?
Sharon

Hi Chris,
I am sorta new to the forum so we've never really "talked", but I am so happy to hear you are home from the hospital and are getting well. The "harrrrrgh harrrrrgh ptew from the guy across the hall" had me hysterical. I'm praying for your continued improvement.
Hi Chris,
I'm so glad you're home and feeling better, prayers and best wishes that you stay that way!
xoxo

So happy to hear you are back home. I hope your next chemo goes ok and hopefully you won't have to have a transfusion.
Take Care,
