Has cancer spread?

Hi. i`ve just foung this website and thank you for all the info on it. I`d really appreciate some advice. I have had all the tests-ultrasound, CT scan, blood (which showed high C125) and biopsy. I have a mass on my ovary which is approx 9cm. the consultant`s secretary called me to say there were `irregularities` and surgery would be necessary. She wouldn`t tell me more over the phone..said the consultant would want to talk to me `face to face.` I have the appt next Tues. I`m really worried that the cancerous cells have spread. How would I know? I have back ache and a really bad cough. My mother died of breast cancer which had spread to her lungs. Thank you for any any advice you can offer as I`m going crazy with worry!

May be you had some answers.  I just want you to know that most important thing is to have a GYN/Oncologist to perform your surgery if you haven't see one.

Peace and Love
