Hi There
This is a situation of using a 2 dimensional test of shadows to reconstruct three dimensional reality.
I would say that the best way to understand the anatomy is by a pelvic MRI.
That will really establish if this cyst is in the fallopian tube or ovary. The most important piece of reassuring information is that it has not grown
best wishes
Just to further clarify, the first report stated the complex cyst was visualized "in" the right ovary. The 2nd, follow-up report stated "there is a complex cyst that ABUTS the right ovary." Does it make any difference if it is in or abutting the ovary? Would the origin still be ovarian? In terms of malignancy, does it make a difference? I guess I'm just confused because the location seemed to have changed when images were read by a different radiologist.
