Hi everybody,

I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst 7 months ago, it was 5cm on my left ovary.  I am going back to have it re-checked its condition so far.  But lately I am suprised to have an abnormal mensturation periods; not only due to the fact of changes in dates but of lately is becoming slimy and heavy at times.

Does anyone knows what could this be?

Thank you

It is good you are following up to have your cyst checked.   I know my periods got really heavy before my dx.  I am really not sure if the pressure of the tumor or the fact that I also had endometriosis caused these changes.  I have friends who do not have cancer who have had the same symptoms - often fibriods are suspected to be the cause.  Hope your follow up goes well.
