Hi there, I was diagnosed Stage 1A Clear Cell back in 3/2006, complete TAH/BSO, standard 6 cycles of Taxotere/Carbo.  Clear Cell was never really much emphasized to much back then, but went on with standard check ups, CA125 test, Routine PET/CT scans, seeing my gyn/oncolgist, PCP, and on my regular PET/CT scan back in 10/2010 they found the little bugger had come back, took me for a loop, but had surgery again, and am currently going thru Chemo Carbo/Gezmar, hoping this time, it will be for good. Chemo will be a must, especially with a Clear Cell.  Everyone is different with re-occurence, if it ever comes back, you just never know-just keep up with your checks ups, stay on top it.  I don't know why it seems like so many more people are coming up with Clear Cell, or maybe it's just me paying attention more.  Heal well, and keep in touch.  Good Luck to you.

Hello, there.   I was diagnosed IC mucinous adenocarcinoma and had 6 rounds of chemo (carbo/taxol).  But, that is different from clear cell.....still, I can't imagine you will get by without chemo.
I am certain someone will come along and respond to your query in time.
Peace.
