borderline - second opinion - pls help

Hello,

I was dx borderline serous tumor and considering a second opinion.

I heard Johns Hopkins is the good place to go...just wondering if anyone has similar experiences...what is the procedure...how long does it take...etc....

Also, are the pathlogy slides in digital format? Will they be sent back to my original hopital after the evaluation?

Hi,
sorry i couldnt of been of more help. I too was diagnosed with serous borderline tumour 3 years ago. I work with two specialists one in sydney one in brisbane does reassure me havign a second opinion so i would def recommend it. Plus they have board meetings and discuss my case with oversea goo-roos:)
