well have been on doxil(caelyx) now this on the 12th of july will be my 4th round...catscan was the 16th june came back 3 new growths one by liver one by large bowel and dont remevber the other one..anywyas my counts went up to 1400 and they are now down to just under 900,so that is good,..they said thye will give me 3 more rounds and catscan and see whats happening from their...the oncologist said not to fixate on the new growths caus e3 more rounds of chemo and we could see a diffi have one blister only in between my fingers thus far...fr gabby55

hi well got my tumor marker back from july 9th, tumor marker went down 20mpoints so its about 880,better a bit then nothing i guess,little disappointed, no lots disappointed...who am i fooling...and they decreased the dosage 20% now instead of 80% its down to 60% due to complications started getting red hands and a few blisters and new growths on liver and illiac and by the large bowel...so had 4th round of doxil july 12th so 2 more then in sept after chemo catscan and then we shall see again...may we all get good progress reports ,i pray for us all daily ,,GOD BLESS US ALL and i thank him always for bringing me threw all times...sweet dreams to all love and blessings gabby55

thanks pam for the words and yes lets hope for a great attack on these cells ...i so appreciate this site and all the ladies what an amazing comfort.....always in my prayers that there will be a cure soon and that we all will have relief from this dreadful disease...GOD bless you all...gabby55

Gabby - glad to here that you are tolerating the doxil and the numbers are dropping.  Let's hope it continues to attack those cells.

Hi Gabby,
That's good news about the CA dropping so much.

It's hard not to fixate on one bad news aspect such as the new growth showing up on your scan. I hope the Doxil takes care of that problem.

As one really suffering with Doxil side effects, It's wonderful that you're only having one blister, good luck with that!
