could chronic cervicitis lead to cervical cancer later???

evm
I was diagnosed early last yr w/ chronic cervicitis and my OB prescribed doxy 100mg tid/7 days & funzella and mobic for pain, it helps for a while, but it reoccur and my worried is tht its why it cant be cured for good??? i am afraid to go to the OB again,i am having pelvic pain, sharp & persistent and also pain on my lower stomach, i am also prone to UTI.I am urinating constantly too and my period was always irregular, I also often miss it OB told me its medical term is amenorhea, could be due to stress and she has done a smear on me & said its inconclusive because of obstruction due to inflamation & she also done another test a swab i think to see if thr bacteria thats infecting me is g+ or g- and she said i am negative of gonorhea, my worried is that could this chronic pain i am feeling can lead to cancer of the cervix?? I also have itch on my pubic area and when i tried to touch my genitals I thought i found little bumps, is this normal? I have lost 2 family members to cancer already, one to cervical cancer & the other to colon cancer. I am worried pls help. I am 35 yr old single parent of 3 kids..

Please get a 2nd opinion with a gyn/onc.  Not because it could be cancer, but because they are specialists in the female reproductive area and have seen it all.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed
