could it be ovarian cancer

I'm new to this site and I hope I'm doing this right?  well I have had symptoms over the years of heavy bleeding, clots, back pain (which they say its heirnated disc?) diagnosed carpal tunnel, numbness from my left side back down to my leg, tired all the time, bloating, abdominal pains, gasy, vaginal pressure and so forth......so they took out my gallbladder in 2006 but I still have the same symptoms??

so i have been bleeding heavily last month, two periods in the month, so got xray today and radiologist notices fibroids and cyst on my left ovary which in the past xrays they could not locate my left ovary? but today they saw cyst so I'm wondering if all of these years of symptoms that it had to do with my uterus and so forth...

well I am leaning to a hysterectomy now because years of this has just begun to get to me in a bad way now I am now 41 soon to be 42 .....time is not on my side this days so need to do something soon.....please let me know if there is anyone out there that is experiencing the same.  thank you for reading ....

Thank you so much for responding to my post...was not sure if i was doing this right?? but yes I feel like its been a roller coaster almost like a ball bouncing being bounced back and forth from doctor to doctor.

but i did get my results in today and will be going over it with my gyn, he isn't a gyn/onc but after your comment about getting one for my surgery I may have to look into one.

doctor sent me my results and states
Slight increase in uterine size 9.5 x 6.0 x 6.8 cm. Endometrial
thickness 11 mm. Slight increase in size of the two fundal
fibroids now measuring 43 and 32 mm in greatest dimensions
compared with 32 and 29 mm previously. Stable normal right ovary.
Left ovary 5.4 cm with a 4.2 cm cyst.

I dont know what all this means but it looks pretty scary so I'll be talking to my doctor soon regarding the results and also talk about getting that ca125 test (not sure if i did this already?)

thanks for reading and your support.  sunflower

Hi Sunflower, you've really had a bad time with these issues, what does your GYN recommend after he's seen the test results. Did he order a CT scan to see what's going on with that ovary? And has he done a CA125 blood test which, if elevated can be a marker for OVCA.
Be proactive with your GYN and make sure you get a good work up. Get and keep copies of every test for your self.
I can understand you wanting a complete hysterectomy to have these problems end. If you decide to go that way, have a GYN/ONC Surgeon preform the surgery, not that you have cancer, but they are specially trained in female organ problems, and he'll check your complete abdomen while he has you open.
I hope this info helped you.
Best of luck, keep us informed..... Jane
