Dermoid cyst

I`m 24 and I have a dermoid cyst on my lest ovary, about 8 cm. I do not feel any pain, periods are normal; I had taken pills, but I want to get pregnant so I stoped taking pills from more than one year, with no results. I have never been pregnant before because I never tried. Should I make the surgical remove of the cyst before making any fertility treatement ? Is it possible to get pregnant and have a healthy child with this big cyst ? I visit my gyn. every month but the cyst is in the same place with no changes. I found out about it 2 years ago. I also develop cheloid scarf, is this a problem after the surgical removal ? Please answer me. Thank you.

Hey there.....I completely agree with Daria.    It would be wise to remove the cyst prior to getting pregnant and your youth is definately on your side.....good luck on both issues!
Peace.

Honestly - do you really think that not removing this thing is an option???  I too have just been diagnosed with an 8.5cm dermoid and am feeling worse every day, as I wait for surgery.   As your baby grows the cyst could rupture, or twist meaning that you will need emergency removal of cyst anyhow - so... why not sort cyst out , then start a family...?
