Hi
endometriosis is usually a benign condition but in rare cases such as mine it can undergo malignant change . If you are experiencing pain and other symptoms then you should visit a gynaecologist and undergo tests to see what is causing your symptoms .
Best wishes Angie xx
Endometriosis occurs when some of the same types of cells that line your uterus somehow find themselves in little clusters in the abdominal cavity. To understand the reasons for your symptoms, it's easy to think of it as having little pin head size uteruses, sometimes larger, stuck in places inside your tummy. So, when your uterus is getting ready for menses as it reacts to the hormones in your body, often times, the endometriosis reacts as well.
If endometriosis is really bad for you, or you are already having some kind of abdominal surgery, talk to your gyn or general surgeon about laser treatments. This can make your quality of life so much better.
Hope you feel better.
