I am happy and on good pain medication. I walk, swim, and ride horses.

Oh dear Alex I had no idea you were that sick, so sorry. I hope you are not in pain or anything. I admire your courage. It's amazingly kind of you to help me when you have so much on your plate.
No I am afraid not. But it is worth a try. I am going with western medicine. I have not explored other things. There is nothing wrong with other treatments. I went to the doctor for 4 years with symptoms before they found it. I was full of cancer. Now it is just whack a mole. We get the cancer gone in one organ and it goes to another. Now for me it is how long can I stay alive with chemo. The doctor says there is no cure for me.I am going on my sixth different form of chemo. I have the BRCA gene that grows cancer, I also have a 98% of Triple negative Breast Cancer which is deadly and hard to treat. I stopped going to the breast doctor. I also have a rare form of Multiple Sclerosis which causes severe crippling in your 50's.
Surprisingly I am happy. I do not think about all these things I just live my life. Otherwise I am in great health all my doctors say I am amazing. Just really bad genetics. Everyone in my family gets reproductive cancer early.

I did some reading about alternative treatments for cancer and one of them was an edible form of the tree resin frankincense; you know the stuff you burn to make the room smell nice? It's supposed have really good potential. Do you know anything about that?
No problem. I would really try planned parenthood. We have them here. I do not know anything besides chemo that works for ovarian cancer. You might look on line. If it worked I would try it myself.
Not sure what happened with my answer but those are not curse words or anything. Computer glitch
Planned parenthood is where I would go. They do all kinds of reproductive health. You would need a vaginal ultrasound which I am not sure they can do. Most doctors send you somewhere. Keep in mind that if you do not have the BRCA mutation you have a 1.4% of ovarian cancer in a lifetime. The younger you are the less likely. The unfair part is if you are diagnosed you can get social security if you are working but you can't get medicare for two years after getting SS. No hospital will treat you if you do not have insurance and can not pay. Cancer is not immediately life threatening so hospitals are not required to pay for cancer treatment. You even have to pay to be in a clinical trial. My insurance paid $100,000 for a clinical trial.
A state hospital has a sliding fee scale. Sorry I do not have better news.
