growth rate of ovarian cysts?

I wonder if anyone has information on the growth rate of different types of ovarian cysts?  I can feel a large cyst in my abdomen that I have been told is barely connected to the ovary by a thin thread.  If is aprox. 10-15 cm and I suspect it has been there quite a while since my same clothes still fit.

There doesn't seem to be alot of data on growth rate of ovarian cysts or tumors. The only thing I could find is that a dermoid cyst grows at 1.8mm per year (slow). Each cell type is different and probably grows somewhat differently in different people. My gyn onc would not give me an estimate of how long my tumor was in me.

1/11/07    hi i had a 5cm cyst removed from my left overy and a smaller one was found on my right when they went in to remove the one on my left back last december this week  i have been told that i have a 12.6cm cyst on my left overy with a tumor under it, and im asking the same question
