Hoping surgery went well and Sandee is comfortable.
Sandee, I just said a prayer for you. I am sorry I didn't see your post sooner. Please come back soon with an update for us.

Thanks, everyone for your words of encouragement. I am unsure WHY the lymph nodes weren't removed on the first go round. The only explanation I heard was that they only looked "inflamed" and nothing to be concerned about. When questioned more recently, my surgeon said that he DID remove LN, but after further review of my path. report, there are no lymph nodes listed. Now I am going to Ohio State and although I love my first surgeon, I think this will be a better situation for me. Its like a pilot.....some fly Cessnas 150's and others fly 747's! However they're both pilots!
I am hopeful this surgery will go well. The lymph nodes are extremely close to the aorta so it's going to be tedious for the surgeon. Of course, I am scared right out of my
wits. I am the biggest wuss I know!
Okay to all my brave sisters out there, I'm going to drink my Miralax, take an Ambein CR and lay awake all night! I'll be back on with a post as soon as I am able.
Peace, Hope and Better Health to my OvCa sisters,
Sandee
I will definately remember you on Wednesday......that is very little to ask of us. I am not familiar with OVATURE. I look forward to hearing from you again after the procedure. You will be in our prayers.
Peace.

I will remember you on Wednesday. So sorry for the complications. Any explanation as to why lymph nodes were left during first surgery?
