I had a pelvic exam last Thursday where my dr. found a mass on my right ovary. I was sent for an ultrasound. The sonographer at first used the abdominal ultra sound and after a few minutes said that she needed to do a transvaginal ultrasound. I did not notice before, but after reading this and other forums, I have a few of the symtoms. I have abdominal bloating after eating even the smallest amounts, change from diarreah to constipation all the time (very irregular), unexplained weight gain, constant gas. I am 44 years old and although cervical cancer runs in my family, there is no history of ovarian cancer. I had precancerous cells in my cervic a few years ago. I had them froze and a repap came back normal. What are the chances of this mass being cancerous? I have not heard any results yet, but I am really, really scared and I am going out of my mind thinking the worst.
