As Cindy says, it would be very helpful if you would fill out your profile. So many people come and go, it is difficult to keep them all straight. In fact, impossible.
My CA125 went up just a wee bit when I had more abdominal surgery. I've heard that anything your immune system is stressed, it can go up. I am not sure about dental work.

Hi ... I wish you would have given us more information. Please fill out your profile. Why are you getting CA125 testing done? Are you in remission from OVCA? If you are an ovarian cancer patient the slight rise you are having isn't unusual. After you have been diagnosed your gyn onc will follow your CA125 with your check-ups. If a trend develops (doubling) then the gyn onc will do the necessary steps to see what is going on. If you are a healthy normal woman without a diagnosis of ovarian cancer a CA125 can fluctuate and the inflamation from your surgery could have caused that. If not, and you are in remission from OVCA then I would call your doctor with your concern. Six weeks sound reasonable. In my case I have grade 3 tumor and a slight rise could mean progression. I am not a usual case. Keep in mind that everyone is different. Some ladies would suggest that a rise with a CA125 could be inflamation, but I differ with my opinion. The kind of inflamation that could cause a rise would have to be a major surgery in the abdominal area. If you are going though menopause it could cause a rise in a healthy normal woman. There are many reasons fo a rise with your CA125 prior to a dx of ovca. I know this is a long explanation but the CA125 does not dx OVCA. It sounds like (not sure) that you are in remission and concerned about the rise. Please give us more information because I can go on and on with different scenarios. Cindy
