Hi Everyone,
Last year I was diagnosed with a 4.5cm fluid cyst on my right ovary.
The doctor said just to watch it, well now 9 months later....... I now have
multisepatated, cystic mass of the right adnexa, measuring 10.1 x 6.1 x 4.2cm. I will go back to the doctor and see what he says, I have been
in severe pain and my stomach has grown...... I have gained 27 pounds.
I am sort of scared, but my CA-125 came back normal. Let me know
what you guys think. Do you think the doctor will remove the entire ovary?

Hey everyone! About a year ago I began to have my period all month every month. I told my mom and we went to the doctor... I went to my gynocologist and he looked at me and told me I looked five months pregnant.. He brought in the dopper and of course did not get a heartbeat. He immediatly sent me to ultrasound.. They is where they found a massive cystic mass. He sent me home and I had to be back at the end of the week to have a CT done. I was scheduled to go back to his office that next week... I didnt make it to then.. That Sat. I had very bad back pain and we loaded up the car and went to Children's Hospital in Birmingham. There I saw 12 different surgeons. They didnt quite know what to do.. they knew they had to get it out but they had never seen one that big. I came through surgery just fine. I lost my right ovary. But it has been six months and I have not had the first sign of any problems. If anyone is going through this and you have any questions feel free to ask!

Hi! I am meeting with my surgeon next Wednesday, May 4. Surgery will be scheduled at that time. My abdomen is huge! I look like I am 8 months pregnant! It is definitely getting alot bigger. I did speak to the director of womens health at a hospital here, and she has known of these fast growing huge cystic masses that are nothing more than that. So I am very encouraged, and just want this thing out, so that I can get in my bathing suit this summer! Other than that I feel great. Just a bit tired, from carrying this thing around! Thanks for keeping in touch!

I have had an ultrasound, blood work and just the other day a CT Scan - the blood work came back at an 18, and the CT showed a large abdominal mass (roughly 29CM x 20CM). All other organs look very good. The left ovary is visible and good, but the right one was not visible. I am seeing a gynocological surgeon in a couple of weeks. Any comments?

On the 10th of march I had a Cyst/mass of 30 cm x 20cm removed watermelon size or 12" x 8" for those not in metric.

I had this Cyst on my right ovary.  They were all set to do a full hysterectomy etc.  But, then decided that they would remove just the Rt ovary and do a biopsy of omentum. As they were quite sure from the Ultra sound & CT scan's and my CA125 @ 35 it would be BENIGN!

Because of it's size I did have to have a verticle laparotomy between belly button-bikini line,  I have just had my staples removed and healing well!

I was worried that it could be Cancer but, yesterday I was given the all clear from hospital.  I came on this site and was given a lot of sound advice which I needed and helped me through these last month's. I would like to thank them for their kind post's.
I hope that I might have helped you!

Please let me know what test's etc., you have had!!
