large ovarian mass
Just last week they found a mass that measures 17*16*15 cm which I'm told is very large in my left ovary and on kidneys is there any way to cut other then competely opening me up
Hi there, personally my mass was larger than this and I would not of wanted my surgery done any other way, than being completely opened up. I would want to make sure that ever inch of my abdomen could be inspected. Please make sure you are seeing an gyn/oncologist. Best wishes.

As the mass is large, an open surgery will be necessary. Another way is the laparoscopic approach, but this is possible in only certain suitable cases. Discuss with your Doctor. Hope this helps.
